GO Loader Fundamentals

This is a 2 day interactive, hands on course designed for GIS professionals, software engineers, DBAs and managers alike, to gain an understanding of the basic aspects of GO Loader functionality.

This course takes you through:

  • GML, XML and OS MasterMap data
  • Oracle setup for GO Loader
  • GO Loader Architecture
  • Use of GO Loader Projects
  • Database modelling with GO Loader
  • Loading OS MasterMap and GML into Oracle
  • Connecting 3rd party GIS to Oracle
  • Applying Change Only Update

This is a 2 day course interactive, hands on course for GIS professionals, software engineers and DBAs, to gain an understanding of the advanced aspects of GO Loader functionality.

The course takes you through:

  • GO Loader Workflow & Architecture
  • Physical database design
  • Spatial partitioning for performance
  • Maintaining history via Archiving
  • GO Loader Tools including FVDS & ITN
  • Using GO Loader Agent for batch scripting of Initial Load and Change Only Update
