Snowflake Labs

Welcome to Labs!

Our laboratory is a virtual playground where we invite you to create, experiment, and play with our products, datasets, wfs examples, new innovations and technologies.  We could just tell you about our products with fancy diagrams and data sheets but we’d much rather let you play with them. Our laboratory web services are hosted on our demo server and are provided on a best endeavours basis. We make every effort to ensure they are running, but if you are experiencing problems please use the contact form to inform a Laboratory Assistant.

You can get more information about specific projects, keep an eye on our product development, and follow our developers’ ramblings in our Techy Blog. You can also sign up for the Snowflake newsletter for a quarterly update on all things Snowflake.

Free Training Course: Developing CityGML ADEs

And even better, we can share this training material with you...for free! You'll find all the material ready to use on our public wiki-pages.

INSPIRE Annex II and III Data Specifications Agreed

Last Monday (8th April) was a momentous one for me. Not only was it my birthday, but I also celebrated the months of hard work that myself and other experts across Europe put into the development of the INSPIRE Annex II and III Data Specifications. The INSPIRE Annex II and II Data Specifications were unanimously agreed by the Member States, with only a couple of minor amendments being required for a few code lists. The translation of the Implementing Rule for Interoperability of spatial data sets and services can now be finalised and the Regulation will enter into force in the forthcoming months....
