Snowflake Software is a leading expert in OGC standards, particularly GML (ISO 19136), data modelling, transformation and XML schema design; a position gained through the development of our products and the provision of consulting services and training to data providers across a wide range of industries. Our UK clients include Ordnance Survey, Geological Survey, UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), Defence Geographic Centre (DGC) and the UK Met Office (UKMO).
Pushing Aviation Boundaries
As a member of the OGC, we regularly participant in OGC interoperability experiments such as the OWS testbeds, standards and domain working groups providing XML/GML modelling analysis, tools and advice. Snowflake contributed to the development of the GML Simple Features Profile, and within the Aviation Domain Working Group was a contributing editor to the Aviation GML Profile. We are the Editor of “Guidance for Retrieving AIXM 5.1 data via an OGC WFS 2.0“ and are responsible for the development of a “lean and mean” WXXM XML schema in OWS-9.
