Aeronautical Data Quality
To ensure Aeronautical Data Quality both on data load and data publication we offer a Validation and Business Rule engine that can run stand alone or be orchestrated by an existing workflow, capable of validating AIXM data syntactically against its schema and also semantically against the AIXM Business Rules. This data quality ‘gatekeeper’ ensures that non-conformant data does not get into your system and that that your organisation does not publish data invalid to specification. Deployed either in front of GO Loader to ensure data quality of incoming data and after GO Publisher to ensure data quality of outgoing data, our Validation and Business Rule engine is fully configurable with support for the Business Rules developed by EUROCONTROL for AIXM as well as user defined rules via Schematron.
Data Audit
To attach the Governance and Traceability, and ensure Data Audit our GO Publisher product enables you to add the ISO 19115 metadata at both the feature and dataset level. Enabling you to encode and transfer information such as the data originator, amendment summary, persons interacting with the data, details or validation performed, effective start date and time of the data, geospatial metadata and limitations of use. Understanding where data originated from and the quality of that sata is paramount to making operational decisions for both the data consumer and receiver.
Data Integrity
To ensure Data Integrity our products make extensive use of checksums, encryption, compression and certificates to ensure that data has not been tampered with or corrupted during data transfer.
