About us
Based in Southampton, Snowflake’s development team build products for the exchange and management of geographical and technical information. We’re big fans of Agile development and use it extensively (with all the latest tools) to deliver first rate software products to a global customer base across many markets. As a small specialist company, we pride ourselves in being able to couple technical excellence in software engineering with a strong understanding of our customer’s needs. Even our Managing Director can code – if only we’d let him!
Your career
As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of development from design and implementation, to testing enhancements for our software products. You’ll learn from our experienced team of developers, you’ll get to take part in leading edge projects across the industry and you can expect to get your hands dirty from day one. Uniquely, you’ll also have exposure to the commercial arm of the business so you’ll be able to understand the customer needs and see the results of your software development.
Every now and again you can do what you like on one of our ‘FedEx’ days. Code what you like as long as you can deliver it in a day and consume pizza whilst you’re at it!
